About Dr. Mehrabani
Dr. Sara Mehrabani is a clinical psychologist licensed in California and New York. She believes in the importance of acceptance and non-judgement in creating a safe and comforting therapeutic environment. Therefore, she emphasizes compassion, humor, and authenticity in her relationships with clients.
Dr. Mehrabani uses evidence-based practices and psychotherapy treatments with strong research foundations. These treatments address a variety of concerns including trauma (specializing in sexual assault and interpersonal violence), anxiety, depression, relationship/family issues, work stress, and grief. Her therapeutic approach addresses the needs and identities of each client by collaborating to develop specific treatment goals.
Dr. Mehrabani received extensive training from a variety of highly respected institutions including NYU, UCLA, USC, Pepperdine, Didi Hirsch, and the Children’s Institute. Dr. Mehrabani holds the following academic degrees:
